Experience and Areas of Expertise Jeff commenced his valuation career in 1980 as Assistant Valuer, Valuer General’s Department Bankstown. In this role, he was responsible for general rating valuations, market analysis and certificate valuations within the City of Bankstown and Sutherland Shire. Jeff later entered the private sector as a Senior Valuer with the L J Hooker Valuation Department in Parramatta. He was responsible for the valuation of a wide variety of real estate throughout metropolitan Sydney and country NSW. Jeff left his position with L J Hooker in June 1992 to operate his own valuation practice, then known as Access Valuations Pty Ltd, from Merrylands and Penrith where he carried out a wide variety of valuations in metropolitan Sydney. Clientele comprised mainly banks and solicitors. He sold this business in December 1997 returning to Bingara to operate the family property. While operating the family property, he carried out valuation work in the northern New South Wales area and contract valuation work in metropolitan Sydney. In early 2003, Jeff relocated to the Newcastle area and started Compass Valuations Pty Ltd. Much of Jeff’s work in this area was as contract valuer to Creer Property. Jeff commenced employment with BJ Cole & Co in September 2006. Jeff has had experience in valuation of a broad range of real estate throughout Metropolitan Sydney and Country New South Wales. This experience includes: Residential: Including Single dwelling houses, home units, home unit developments, subdivisions, and feasibility studies of both home unit developments and subdivisions. Industrial: Ranging from small factory units to large warehouse premises and development sites. in Sydney and country New South Wales, and Melbourne. Commercial: Ranges from small lock-up shops to large high-rise office developments, car yards, service stations, specialised banking premises, licensed premises, motels and Post Offices. Rural: Including valuations of orchards, grazing properties and mixed farming properties throughout the Central West and northern New South Wales. |
